Chico summers are long and hot, with July afternoons in the mid-90s and many days well above that, while winters bring fog, rain and the odd frosty morning. How California thinks about cremation
About 70.5%[1] of people in California are cremated, and pet cremation is correspondingly common. For fish keepers, the practical upshot is that you're unlikely to be the first person to ask a local crematory about a koi. Many will have a clear policy: fish over a certain size cremated privately with ashes returned, very small fish offered communal cremation or a symbolic return. Ask to hear that policy before you book.

When the weather sets the pace in Chico

Can a provider from a neighbouring town collect from Chico?
Usually yes. Oroville is about 22 miles away, Yuba City is about 43 miles away and Lincoln is about 66 miles away, all inside a normal collection radius. Get the mileage written into the quote so there is no surprise on the day.
Does the Chico climate change what I should do first?
